Testing a pair of headphones inside an anechoic chamber

How it "sounds", i.e. "how it acts" in nature, the absolute silence? Does it really exist? The science podcaster Oliver Suess discussed the topic in English language with the researcher Kurt Heutschi of the Department of Acoustics and Noise Reduction ofEMPA.
During the conversation, the scientist addresses the question of the scientific definition and exploration of silence as well as the possible ways of "listening" to the total absence of noisy vibrations, not without explaining how the anechoic chambera (i.e. literally which does not give rise to echo phenomena…), available to the Zurich office di Dübendorf of the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology.
The interesting podcast titled “Five minutes of silence” by Oliver Süess, which can also be listened to on su Spotify, Apple Podcast as well as on the site podcastlab.ch, has a duration of 18 minutes and 47 minutes.
